Hi everyone, Joshua with RASA Easels here. We are more than halfway to our funding goal, with 25 days to go!
At this point in the campaign, Jake and I decided to put the spotlight back on our amazing community, without whom we could not have made it this far. So I put together a little "shout outs" section at the end of our campaign page. Please go check it out!
If you don't already know about these amazing people, do yourself a favor and follow and support their work. Personally, I'm especially in awe of people like David Gorden, Cbabi Bayoc, and Hajra Meeks, and others, who are relentless in their generosity. They constantly inspire us to go above and beyond in giving back to our community.
So, to all those who have helped us get this far, and to you, our first backers, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation. By supporting us early on, you demonstrate how much you believe in us and in what we are doing, and it means a great deal to us.
On our campaign page, you'll also see that I added a few of the outstanding video reviews on YouTube. Even if you are familiar with our product by now, these videos are worth watching to get oriented to the many features of our easels.
In particular, the review by Hajra Meeks is brilliant. She even came up with a few innovative uses that never occurred to us, such as mounting a webcam on top of the easel stand to record a work in progress, or using magnets to attach your own paper to the backboard.
Also worth checking out is the unsolicited review by David Gorden. David has been with us from the beginning of our prototype development and has more experience using our easels than anyone. He is also one of the most hard-working and generous people we know. One of the things worth noting in his video is how the easel can be flipped over to use both sides of the page – a feature that you'll definitely want to use.
Lastly, be sure to check your messages on Kickstarter within the next day or two. We have a very special offer in store for our first backers, so stay tuned.
Some of you have asked what else you can do to support us. In addition to sharing our Kickstarter with your friends and on social media, please take a look at the add-ons module in the campaign page, and consider whether you would like an additional module, such as the clipboard module, which is designed to let you use your own paper.
