We did it!!

We have passed our funding goal! Thanks to your support, we can go to production! Jake and I are deeply grateful to every one of you for making it possible.

There are still eight days left in the campaign, so please continue to spread the word about us so that we can reach our stretch goals and make this the best it can be!

Throughout this campaign, we've learned so much along the way and have had some unforgettable moments. These are the kinds of experiences that truly keep us going. I want to share briefly with you some of the highlights.

  • When David Gorden repeatedly, tirelessly, and generously supported us ever since we were still making clunky prototypes. At Grove Fest, he drew free caricatures for people who backed our campaign on the spot, and he even put in the pledge that brought us over the finish line.
  • When Anastasia Rath overcame the worst art block she's had in years while working on a gouache portrait on the maple easel starter set we sent to her. She was also able to advance in her portrait techniques, "due to the unique nature of this easel design." We can't take credit for her outstanding work but are thrilled that our easel aided her process.
  • When several of our backers wrote to us saying that our easel design is "a Godsend" for people with disabilities or chronic pain, because our easel is extremely lightweight and adjustable. One backer wrote, "I see this easel as an answer to a lot of artists who want to work on their art but are restricted because of their disabilities. This easel will help them facilitate their dreams of working on their art. Thank you."
  • When we saw how much kids loved using our easels at the demo stations we set up at events like Grove Fest. When they finished their artwork, we let them tear off the page and take it home with them. Some of their works were so stunning, that even their parents were surprised.

All these happy outcomes are a reminder that we are doing something that will make a difference in the lives of all kinds of creative people. It feels amazing to be along for the ride.
